This is Drax, the Destroyer played by Dave Bautista in the film Guardians of the Galaxy (2014). If you ask me this is a different Drax since all through out the movie
he kept saying that his family was killed by Ronan the Accuser and not by Thanos which eventually changed later in the movie. We all know that the Comics Drax was
attacked by Thanos itself and was revived by Chronos. See Comic Drax
here.
The design was based on the movie which really has a slight resemblance to Dave "Batista" Bautista. Unlike the comics Drax this one has a lot more tribal markings and
a better set of knives - and bulkier. One thing I noticed though, this one is already wearing the red pants which was worn in the final battle with Ronan's fleet - so what? The problem was among the set of figures
of the Guardians of the Galaxy, they were wearing different attires, so uniformity as a team doesn't look good. Rocket was wearing his orange jumpsuit while Gamora was wearing her blue
suit. Next, the dagger sheaths on the side of his boots was awesome, probably because it doesn't bend the knives unlike the old comic Drax.
In terms of articulation, this ain't bad either since it can move in freely - no parts are seriously limited from moving. The problem probably here is the issue with this batch ML's which has a soft
connectors on the articulations. Prone to breaking and melting in extreme heat.
Who do you think will win?
And which one do you think is greener? :)
