Marvel Legends - Epic Heroes - Deadpool - X-Force Variant

Another loose figure I bought together with Lord Thor is Wade Winston Wilson or probably much famously known as Deadpool - Chimichanga! Deadpool - a product of the Weapon X Program, a mercenary and anti-hero appearing in various comic books and various teams in the Marvel Universe. Deadpool has been one of my favorite not because he is a ruthless killing machine who doesn't die but it's because he is too funny to boot! The later versions of Deadpool who talks to himself as always been so entertaining.

Marvel Legends - Blob Series - Asgardian Thor / Lord Thor

Lately in order to fill some gaps in my Marvel Legends Collection I were buying some loose figures from some sellers in the same group. Well, the reason why is because some figures are too expensive to buy in it's sealed condition or the figure no longer exist in the market and can only be bought to some collectors who are either streamling or some other reason. One of the finds I got is this Lord Thor from the Marvel Legends Blob Series. The only problem on buying loose figures is sometimes some joints are already loosen but for this case this one still has tight one, the previous owner must have taken care of it a lot. It has some little dust though and another thing this one only has his Mjolnir - the original package has Thor's Axe with him.

Marvel Legends - Groot Series - Guardians of the Galaxy - Iron Man Godkiller Space Armor MK III

Another Guardians of the Galaxy figure, but this one is not yet in the movie but probably would show up - Iron Man's Space Armor MK III also known as "Godkiller". Not to be confused with the Godkiller for Arno Stark [Lost brother of Tony] - Tony made this armor to move better in space when he joined the Guardians of the Galaxy. Equipped with an AI called P.E.P.P.E.R and Stark Omniversal Multitasking Software that can't control his other suits from light years away.

Marvel Legends - Groot Series - Guardians of the Galaxy - Gamora the Most Dangerous Woman in the Universe

Another GOTG movie figure, Gamora played by Zoe Saldana - the adopted daughter of Thanos and the last of the Zen Whoberi Species. Also known as the "The Most Dangerous Woman in the Universe" - a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Infinity Watch, Phalanx and United Front. Moving on, if you are familiar with comics Gamora - this is not what she looks like and far from it.

Marvel Legends - Groot Series - Guardians of the Galaxy - Drax The Destroyer

This is Drax, the Destroyer played by Dave Bautista in the film Guardians of the Galaxy (2014). If you ask me this is a different Drax since all through out the movie he kept saying that his family was killed by Ronan the Accuser and not by Thanos which eventually changed later in the movie. We all know that the Comics Drax was attacked by Thanos itself and was revived by Chronos. See Comic Drax here.

Marvel Legends X-Force X23 Custom Figure by prisz ver. 2

Prior to my previous post and another attempt to learn and create my own custom toy, here is another version of X23. Well, probably this time it's much more cleaner and better than the first X23 that I made Can be found here.. To be fair I'll criticize it far more than how I do on official toys.

Marvel Legends - Infinite Series - BAF Groot - Groot

Probably, of the most unforgettable character in the movie Guardians of the Galaxy is the Monarch of Planet - Groot. Groot was actually an invader from another planet which captures human for experimentation which was changed way back 2006 and was turned into a noble warrior. By this time I am writing this, I still don't have the whole Guardians of the Galaxy set and the reason I already have this Build a Figure Groot is because I found a loose one lurking around the market. Ain't he cute huh?

The Return of Marvel Legends - Arnim Zola Series - Madame Hydra [Viper]

Our next figure is Ophelia Sarkissian also known as Madame Hydra and Viper. One of the elite of Hydra an enemy of both Avengers and the X-Men. If ever your wondering, yes she was the on The Wolverine movie. I no longer have to do a history check since I'm sure most of you guys have seen her on some of Marvel's Animated Series or Films - well she was the only green female general their. By the way, this figure has a Madame Masque Variant - sharing the same mold and weapon.

The Return of Marvel Legends - Arnim Zola Series - Drax the Destroyer

So since the film Guardians of the Galaxy went over the theatres - old Marvel Legends toys such as this went sale for about half it's SRP. And here your friendly-neighbourhood blogger and collector takes the opportunity to grab one of these old figure of Drax the Destroyer. Before we move on I did a little background check on who is Drax anyway? No, not the movie version but the comic version Drax. Arthur Douglas also known as Drax is actually a human whose family was attacked by Thanos. So, In need of a champion to battle Thanos - Kronos (an entity whose merged with the time and universe) took Arthur's spirit and placed in a new body. Just a brief background check on who is Drax.
